The major benefit of implants is solid support for your new teeth — a process that requires the bone to heal tightly around the implant. Because this bone healing requires time, the process can take many months.

MOUTH CLEANING/SCALING AND POLISHING

Scaling and Polishing involves removing plaque and tartar deposits that have built up on teeth surfaces over time. A dentist or hygienist can also polish your teeth. Scaling and polishing removes stains from coffee, tea, cigarettes or red wine and it makes it more difficult for plaque to stick to your teeth. It is advised that scaling and polishing be done every 6 months i.e.twice in a year.
